When I go fishing it is a hour back home .Trim motor up higher than it was on transom jack for five min .Lower back down level check the oil .1/2 on the stick .The next day it will be 3/4 on the stick.How do ya check yours to be correct.

They tend to hide oil. I know when you drain it they say raise it then lower it a few times. Then make sure the anti cavitation plate is level to the floor.

I set my engine vertical/level for a day or so then check the oil.
