    Winter leagues

    Last winter I fished a winter bass fishing league with a good friend of mine from Louisville, we fished Nolin, Barren, Rough River and Green River our first tournament was held on Nolin January 1st! This isn't for everyone but I've gotta say I really enjoyed this and plan to do it again this year. We caught some very nice fish and as you would imagine we had the lakes to ourselves. Weather becomes a factor plus the winter draw down of the lakes but all in all it was a great time. I fished Patoka as much as I did the KY lakes however its a different bite altogether on Patoka...................imagine that!!
