    Summer crappie

    How and where to catch crappie in hot water. Probably 90 degree water temp. Going on vacation to Weiss in Alabama. I'd like to catch a few from the crappie capital. Deep stucture? Shaded docks? Suspended? I only fish brush and trees in spring and fall here in Ohio.

    Richard Gene The Fishing Machine (Youtube channel) catches 'em every time I watch his shows. Fishes a lot of bridge pilings it seems. Shooting docks should also be ok. Sometimes it is dink city in the hottest months. He usually is on Weiss or G'ville as he lives near both. Been struggling with size this year myself, way more than in the past.

    I catch them in the same places i catch them in the spring and fall, went a couple of weeks ago and were catching them on the same structure as in the spring and fall. Some are a little deeper, but no real difference. Now sizes caught.... thats a different story.
