Help:: Mercury Oil in gallon jugs >7 years old...Any Good ??

I have 2 jugs of Motor oil in a refill gallon jug(just found them) that have were refillled probably 7 years ago. They have been closed ever since I bought them and stored in a attached garage in a cool dark bottom shelve. Is this Oil still Good to use with my 1998 Ranger 150hp.??

Yep, No problem. You can use an old tin of oil found in a barn that has been there for 50 years if you want.

You can NOT wear oil out, or deteriorate it, you can only CONTAMINATE it. As long as it has been sealed from dust/dirt, it's ok !!
