    Coolers

In need of a cooler for my boat, I been looking at the RTIC 30 soft side.

    Has anyone used this cooler?

What coolers do you guys use on your boats on super hot days?

They are good, but the zipper sucks. The Yeti flip is better, but twice the money.

I use Polarbear coolers. Soft side and rugged. Great insulation.

Everyone on BBC uses nothing but YETI. You have to have the hat, tumbler, bottle opener, yeti ice, truck sticker and logo on jersey. BBC rules. Any other cooler is crap.

I bought an Ozark Trail soft-sided cooler from Walmart. I believe it's a 20 quart, works well in my smaller boat. Keep it under the driver console out of the sun, keeps ice all day!

I have a Yeti Roadie and a RTIC soft side. I will take the RTIC any day over the Yeti. Keeps ice longer, and doesn't weigh 670lbs when loaded.

Don't care for a build in cooler. I much prefer to have something I can take in the house, pack and put in the boat, then lift out and take in the house when I return. Too much trouble to tote drinks, chilled food, ice all separately to the boat and then clean it out when a soft cooler with a shoulder strap can be packed in the house.

When I fish by myself this is what I use in my empty back compartment and it works great. If someone goes with me I use the built in cooler.

I bought the Ozark Trail Premium soft side cooler (dark gray) on a trip to Okeechobee this year. It kept ice all day and still had ice the next morning when we headed to the lake again. It stayed out in the sun all day. I bought the jumbo because we kept drinks and lunch in it but they make a smaller one that would probably work well too. It may not look as cool as the more expensive ones but if you hide it under the passengers console nobody will see it
