    Fastest "non surfaced" prop?

I know a lot plays into answering this question, but generally what is considered the fastest "non surfaced" prop? Gonna try different props before going the nose cone/lwp route. Thanks

A trophy runs well when not surfaced.

Tempest is fastest on one of my boats.
Power Tech is fastest on the other boat.

See where this is going? All depends on the boat, motor, and load.

Would help to know what boat/motor combo.

So far on my PII/SHO Fury 3 has been fastest with a tempest A45 and trophy a close second (all of my props have been worked on), but I also have never tried any "go fast" props. I would like to try some one day but finding guys interested in a prop swap/test n tune day around here is hard!

For a more accurate response we need to know a few simple details ....

    What boat?
    What motor?
    What prop your using currently?
What is the current RPM's @ WOT?
What is your current GPS speed?

    What boat? 1990 Shadow 180v
What motor? 1993 Mariner carbed 200
What prop your using currently? Dinged up 24 trophy. Came with engine. Still breaking engine in from rebuild
What is the current RPM's @ WOT? I've run it WOT for a small amount and haven't been able to see but I know it's over 5500.
What is your current GPS speed?
Haven't "gps'd" at WOT yet but speedo has been pretty accurate at lower speeds. Speedo around 74-75. Engine set pretty low too on jack plate

Get us all the information after the motor is broken-in. Specifically the RPM's @WOT and GPS speed.

Tell us the prop to pad setting, and the water pressure @ WOT also.

That speedo is probably off 7-10 mph and GPS is the only way to get close to being correct.

Set up right you should be turning a 26" trophy around 6400 RPM's, running mid to upper 70s

Those speeds I listed are light. Weight slows them down quite a lot.
