Helix 10 Gen1 and Onix not sharing waypoints?

My first gen Helix 10di is connected to my Onix 10si touch by an Ethernet cable, Helix is 1.40 and Onix is 3.030. I noticed this weekend that waypoints made on the Onix didn't show up on the Helix but I didn't check visa versa. This hasn't been an issue before as they've both shared just fine. Any ideas why?

Are they linked directly with a cable, or through a network switch?

Directly with a cable. Never had an issue before (that i can recall). Im wondering if the Helix update messed something up. Like i said i dudnt try marking a waypoint on the Helix and seeing if it showed up on the Onix. Even if it didn't at least the Onix can import from the network but I can't find that on the Helix unless I save Onix waypoints to a card and load them to the Helix but I've never had to do that. And before it's asked I'm certain the Ethernet cable is plugged at both units as I don't have a cable collector for the Helix so I plug it in (don't trailer with electronics mounted) and screw it in to the Onix.

After years of use, I've determined that boot order and timing are critical to my ONIX/HELIX/360 network.

The best way for me to assure success is:
    1. Power up 360
    2. Power up the 5 port switch
    3. Boot my master ONIX, fully.
    4. Boot Onix 2, fully.
    5. Boot Onix 3, fully
    6. Boot Helix.

I guess my point to you is, are you allowing the Onix to fully boot (and establish an IP address) before starting the Helix? I know it's a pain to wait through the boot up (believe me, I know*3). This waiting has significantly improved my network reliability.

Yes the Onix is at the console so gets turned on first, the Helix is on the bow and dosent get turned on until I begin fishing.
