    225 SHO VST Tank

Has anyone been having any problems with the filters getting clogged in the VST housing on the SHO motors, My motor will run fine in the morning but later in the day if I idle for a long time it will not get on plane and will start surging real bad. Any tips would be great. Power head was replaced about 200 hours ago. This just started when it got above 95 degrees outside. Thanks!

Check your filter that is attached to the fuel pump. If it's dirty or greasy, then your high pressure pump is going out. Mine and several others have had the same problem. Mine started when temps were super high which I suspect liquified the grease in the high pressure pump. Don't run it hard until you check it as you can have a major problem.
