I just bought mine in the last two weeks and had it on the water the first time last Friday. Of course I had the issue with the momentary switch where my motor would not shut off unless I pushed the switch up from the bottom or turned down the speed. I messed with the switch and finally got it to work the rest of the day but it's a time bomb waiting to happen again. Called MinnKota today and was told even if I wanted to get a new unit it would take weeks and I might as well wait until they send some sort of fix to the authorized service centers. What? I didn't ask for details but what is the service center going to do? And how will I ever know if my service center can fix it or not? Not a real happy customer right now!
