Am I asking for too much??

The only thing that would motivate me to buy a new boat would be if one of these fell out of the sky on to my driveway.

Charger/Champ Elite 188 hull, single console with the top cap functionality/design/layout(not quality) of the new Z series Nitros.. 200 hp. Pro X , 8-10" manual jack plate. Single axle channel frame trailer with swing tong, surge brakes, 15" tires, metal fenders and old school grease hubs . Don't need no ass burnin' heated seats or night vision voodoo as dark 30 is waaay past my bedtime.. And it better be some shade of glitter rocket red/maroon/burgundy with silver or gray trim.

    Checkbook in hand and loaded..

I agree with Mike, if they make a 188 Elite I would be a player.

I thought the 18' beam forward hull was the 183 ... That was one of the three that were rebadged as one of the Stratos Elites anyway.

198 next year and depending on sales the next one may be the smaller boat. 198 should be ready to order by January 2018 and no pricing as of now.

    I say don't build a 188 unless it is rated for a 200HP.

I want the exact same thing. 18ish rated for a 200 with a layout similar to a Ranger Z185. I think there are a lot of guys that don't need, and don't want to spend an extra 20k for a couple more feet of glass, but want a boat that will run over 60 loaded.

A 186 with a 175 will run over 60 loaded. Two people, all their gear, full of fuel, water in both livewells mine would run 63 GPS all day long. Spend some money on prop work and it would hit 65+ loaded.

If you have rode in or seen the 210 or 198 champ that's what you will get .

Who knows, the Charger version might be faster.

Yeeeppppppp. I want to see how Charger improved the storage and if they increased the legroom in the 198. My legs rub the bottom of the console in my 198.
