    Tempest to Fury 4

    Boat: ranger z520 250 etch, 2 talons fully loaded

    Current have a tempest with a 26" pitch, poor hole shot.

    I would like to purchase the fury 4 but I am not sure of what pitch to get. Any suggestions? Do I go with 24" or 25"?

    First off What rpm's and speed did you get with the tempest. Tempest is usually 1 pitch lower. Fury 3blade and Fury 4 blade run the same pitch

    With my tempest 26 pitch I am getting 5800-5900 rpm. 65mph

    Whats the motor max rpm. So far something doesn't sound right

    The Fury 4 only goes up to a 26p. I think you need to private message Ghostcomanche. The man knows how to setup a Ranger. I believe he can give you the correct answers. http://www.bbcboards.net/private.php?do=newpm&u=8952

    So my new 25p fury4 is installed....no other adjustments made only a prop swap and I noticed a hug difference with holeshot. Feels like a new boat.

    It's a 26" tempest and needs some work to run right. Small PVS plugs are too small for the Z520 and it probably needed more venting.
