    TOTAL SCAN TRANSDUCER

    Hi guys, I have a 1973 Stratos 274 that I am trying to restore and upgrade. I would appreciate any help Stratos owners can provide. If anyone can post pics of the location you have chosen to mount your total scan transducer so that I get the best readings for down and side scan as well as 2D reading at more than slow speeds it would be a great help to me. This is my third Stratos and I love these boats but I have always used the shoot thru the hull pucks.

    TotalScan is an "all in one" transducer. It has normal 2d sonar plus side and down imaging all in one package. If you want the 2d to work properly, you will have to mount the TotalScan close to the boats pad where it has surface contact when the boat is on plane running.
