    This is for javelin boaters

    Im posting this for a friend who had just bought a 1994 javelin 17 or 18 ft boat with raker prop 150 johnson not sure about a jack plate, he is a newby to this size of boat a young man, the question is what pitch do you guys wood suggest for the boat Thanks

    would help to know which model for sure so we know length. But likely a 24 or 25. Besides HP what year is motor?

    "typically" a 3 blade 24 Raker under normal circumstances. If he has shallow water anchor and carries Bass Pro Shop in his locker along with a livewell full of water and a partner then a 3 blade 22 Raker. If he wants to try a 4 blade then 23 or 25 Renegade...23 Renegade if extremely heavy and 25 Renegade if normal load.
