Did you see this thread Leonard? Doesnt sound like its not really being discontinued - they are just coming out with a new model thats adding a new engine diagnostic plug.

not coming out with a new unit. this change was made a while ago. we have had nothing but j1939 models for a while nowThat's the non J1939 version and yes it has been discontinued. All of the current 7600 units feature the J1939 plug which allows interfacing with engines that are J1939 equipped
