    Ranger Carpet Coming Up

The carpet on my '92 482v is in great shape, however, on the rod locker lids in front of the consoles the carpet appears to have come unglued from the deck lids. It is still glued down on the edges but on the top there is a spot on each locker that is stretched and sort of bubbling up. Is there a way to glue this back down without having to pull the carpet up from the edges? My only idea has been to make a couple pin holes in the carpet and squirt some glue through a needle under the carpet through the pin holes.

I am going to use a dental syringe. What would you recommend making the pin holes with to avoid tearing the carpet? Is there padding under the carpet or does it go straight to the deck lid?

When I fix this situation for customers i pull up the carpet a bit where it's come loose and shoot the glue in the injector on the deck or padding...which ever is under the carpet ....

Don't puddle it up, the glue will come up through the carpet.
