Hey guys, I bought an onix 10 out of the for sale forum here that only had 34 hours on it. It worked great for two days then it started putting a white line downthe left side of the screen. It gets worse every day, I've used it 6-7 times now. The left side of the screen is useless at this point. Anyone ever had this happen? I've emailed hb about it, but I always trust advice form BBC on such issues.

I would pick up the phone and call them. Email is a great tool but an email conversation can take a week or more when a phone conversation has real time feed back. Humminbird folks are usually great to deal with.

Looks like dead display pixel rows or the display circuit board connector has come partially loose.

It's getting worse every trip. Didn't get a chance to call today. Maybe Monday
Ok so after Saturday my entire screen is white.. will call hummingbird tomorrow.
Update. Sent the unit to hummingbird for repair. They called Friday and it can't be repaired. They are sending out a solix 12 to replace it. Very good, quick service. I'm happy even though a 50 hr onix shouldn't have failed.

The only downside is they are backordered. Don't know how long I'll be without one. They offered a helix 10 g2n if I needed one right away, but I think I'll wait on the Solix!!!! Yes I'm very pleased with the customer service!
You just hit the lottery. I would break my Onix on purpose for that deal. My luck they would just say why did you break your Onix a$$hole!
Just sent my onix in last week for a pixel line going out. They just sent me a new onix head unit. Wonder why they are giving you a solix ....??? Good for you though!! I might be a little jealous lol
