    Humminbird Remote Rebate Update

    Just a FYI. My remote has been approved since April and I still haven't received it. I sent a follow up email to them yesterday to see whats up and now they are telling that they have limited quantities and that they are still honoring the rebate program and remotes will be shipped sometime in August or September. Has anyone received one lately?

    I don't expect to see mine within the 5-7 weeks...

    Same as most - it's been "approved" for a while and they will wait until time stands still if they can.

    Rebate fulfillment companies are always ZERO fun to deal with.

    Here is the email i got yesterday about the remote......

    Thank you for contacting Johnson Outdoors Reward Center.


    The offer stated it was for a limited quantity but due to the response and the value of our customers, we will honor all approved claims we have in the system. You will be sent the remote when the replacement quantity is received. Remotes should be sent out late August or September 2017.

    How long did it take you to get your replacement Ultrex? I got my replacement last Saturday and called in the warranty claim on July 5th..Just curious..

    The remote thing has been quite a joke frankly. Excitment for it is completely gone when its delivered this late!

    its back-ordered. i ordered in feb and finally got one but it came in like this and i had to refuse it. we have stock of several different models but not the one I need

    those pics are of the 1st unit. package was damaged by UPS and a cable was cut. i refused the unit and i'm waiting on stock to come in again. hopefully it wont take 6 months this time

    Whats the deal with this rebate? I am getting the run around from Humminbird on it. Are there any Humminbird reps that can step in here? There sure are not impressing me as a first customer!

    I just talked with the rebate center for the remote, the rep said mine would be shipped late AUG or early SEP.
