    What are these pothole looking things?



    I am thinking shell beds or Apple snails. Please hlp as I still learning to read the images.

    They would look a lot better/clearer if you cut down on the range. Typically the range should be 3-4 times the depth. So in your 10' depth you should set 30-40' to each side. Of course you can set it further when searching for creek channels etc but you lose the detail and may not even see it at all.

    Curious, when Southerners say Bream is that like when Northerners say Sunfish? Meaning any panfish in the Sunfish family like Bluegills, Redear, Green, Pumpkinseed etc?

    Yes, bream = sunfish.

    We just call em perch , it covers them all.
