    Deck Extension for 2008 198vx

    I am very interested in extending the front deck over the cooler.Does Ranger make a deck extension for my boat? If so, does anyone have any pics they would share?

    I purchased one from Ranger for my 2001 R85Vs. I does not fit properly, I can fit my whole hand in between sides and the extension and where it meets the side of the existing panel. I've been going back and forth with Ranger for over a month; sent at least a dozen pictures from every angle and no resolution. Save yourself the $500 plus factory insert and go aftermarket.

    wow, i got one from ranger for my boat and have not taken it off since.

    mine was the whole deal, compartment and lid the top fits fine its the swing down panel in the front that is way off.
