    Worms or Jigs?

I'm down in the southeast (Florida) and wonder what you prefer to use. Which of the two seem to work better?
I've started using jigs, the Strike King Hack Attacks and Dirty Jigs.

I don't think there's a "right" answer. They're both going to worm. Have a rod rigged with each and go to town!

FIFY...and I agree. Which works best would likely depend on which goes through the weeds & "snot" best, without getting fouled. How about a Texas-rigged lizard? IMO, a lizard beats a worm about every time. Don't neglect trying a + sized Dropshot rig on whatever line size & rod you feel you need.

If the fishing is tough and I need fish, my go to bait is a C-rig lizard. I know I will catch fish with that setup. Maybe not the hog I want..maybe I will, but I just have confidence in that setup which means more than the lure itself to me at times.
I use jigs mainly around docks and brush piles, but I am not a real good jig guy. If fish a worm, and I do, it's T-rigging it.

Try these 2 worms when/if You get the chance:

    http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Zoom_...age-ZMUSW.html <--- Sungill

    http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Gambl...cpage-GBW.html <--- FortyNiner

Use a 1/8 non-pegged weight and the hook of Your choice (I use an Owner Straight Shank w/Twistlock in a 5/0) Keep a Dirty Jigs swimjig ready to fire. Take just the 2 rods and fish them until You get confidence in both.
