I reinstalled my power pack, motor started on first turn, Fred I have your power pack packed and ready to ship, I am sorry it did not work and I do appreciate your help, it seems its really easy to start a shi# storm on here.

With Fred's pack installed, did you unplug the port connector on the pack and test for spark? On your power coil and charge coil tests for grounded condition, all negative for ground?

Yes I checked for spark at every plug, I had no spark at any connection, I do appreciate your help, it seems this motor has a curse on it,. I believe the stator is bad I will go from there. Fred the power pack is on its way home! Head High thanks for your comments, it is not my fault the power pack did not work, I know it takes time

You are aware that I said it is the pack I use for testing as I stated? And it was last used for a test on a 1992 Ocean runner. No harm no foul David. Good luck with your motor.

What I was thinking when I asked if you unplugged the port connector on Fred's pack. If spark returned you might have a come and go problem in the ignition switch, a bleed thru to connections within the switch does happen. Maybe you think you answered that one but I didn't see it. Oh well, I think your going to get it fixed now.

A new power pack? A good power pack didn't work, why would you order a new one? If your testing is correct, it does not indicate a bad power pack. Seven years, three shops, one shop three times, 100's of ideas, a good power pack, and you still don't know what's wrong with your motor! I know why.
