No set up time, first pass with the boat after installing the 2001 year model engine I had sitting on a stand. Never got to play with it again, sold the boat to one person the following week, and the engine to someone else.
Pretty sure whoever else it was ran 104 with pretty much the same setup.
The 300x engine was a beast, true 330 hp out of the box.
    Was that my boat? Lol

I'd love to have an X but not so sure I would like it on tournament day running 100+ miles.

I believe his name is Danny, he used to run with Jason, Blair, Lou and a couple of others in FL.

Wish I still had mine some days. Just not the days I'm at the gas pump or buying oil for it. It was dependable. I sold it with over 600 hrs on it. Never had one issue with it.

Quick update. We have several runs in. So far we have a few runs under 25 seconds to 85 with a few more runs just over 25 seconds. No one under 20 seconds (yet).

I'm going to switch over to a new thread sometime this week and put up a graph.

Remember this isn't a one and done thing. You can send in as many runs as you want. I expect the leader board to change a lot. Cooler weather on the way!

My goal is to get the ProSport out this weekend by myself with the gopro.
I've only got two props now; my 26 Bravo and 26 Spinelli. The Spinelli has a better hole shot but I've never tried running it past 80 mph. As you (Lee) mentioned a while back, it runs like a 25" or smaller as it has horrible slip numbers for a 26". I don't know if it has 90 mph in it but since we're down to 85 mph runs, it should be fun.

I had to call Danny and get the scoop from him:
When Danny B's Pro sport had 300X on it he ran 104.7 -full of fuel , fishing loaded , troller and batts headed out on Lake O fishing 5 years ago. He never pulled everything out and off the boat for a top end run. For sure his rig had more top end speed in it.

Sjc don't forget to turn get the app and turn it on. The data logging is incredible. It's takes away the seat of the pants. Which can be deciveiving in cases. For example with the XOB when it feels like it dragging the nose plowing it is hanging with a promax prop, and when it feels like the boat is cleaning up and lifting that is where the acceleration starts lacking. Exactly opposite of what a person "feels"

speedometer. More info on page 1 and 2 of this thread. It is just a GPX file recorder. All the data crunching is manual.

the paid version allows file GPX file saving. I believe it is less than $5. The link should bring you right to the app store if you are viewing from your phone. https://appsto.re/us/q78OF.i
