    Piedmont Tournament Trail - Tournament #7 - Jordan Lake - RESULTS

    We had 10 boats at Poe's Ridge Ramp today that weighed in 14 bass for a total of 68.48 lbs. Jaime Fajardo and Jeremy Sabo took home the first place prize of $140 for their 3 bass limit weighing 19.97 lbs. Jaime also took home the $50 Big Bass price for with his 6.93 lb largemouth. Wade Eaddy landed the second place prize of $60 with his 3 bass limit that pushed the scales to 14.92 lbs.

    This was our last regular season tournament. In our totally unofficial Angler of the Year standings Todd Sumner bested the field with a season total of 43.82 lbs. Bruce Rudd was second with 38.75 lbs and Neil Eckberg was third with 36.09 lbs. This season we brought a total of 96 fish to the scales that weighed 296.18 lbs.

    Our Classic is 8/6/2017 and the pot is now up to $300.00 and the following 13 anglers have qualified for the Classic. The location of the Classic will be draw at 5:00 PM ET on 8/5/2017.

    That was an unbelievable bag, especially for July. Think the most I ever remember seeing for 3 fish was 16 or 17.

    The 7 lber's tail was dripping blood.. weird considering she came out of 15 fow.

    I don't know how you do it Shiner, we fished High Rock today and didn't catch a keeper. I did catch an 8 lb channel cat flipping a jig under a dock. I thought I had a new state record bass.
