Is that speed via GPS? That is excellent.

Received my 21 Tempest plus replacement prop and returned the 24 Tempest. Definietly an improvevement in the holeshot and gained 1 to 2 MPH. RPM now is around 6100 instead of 5400. Around 47 MPH GPS with 2 people and full tank of gas. I have the plugs in but not solid. Wondering if I should try the solid plugs.

So has anyone that has the 21p tempest on the 115 ProXS CT been seeing high engine temps or excessive fuel consumption? Due to the high reving in the 6300rpm range

Took mine out yesterday for quick run with new 21p tempest. Pops out of water nicely. With the family ( wife, 2 kids and myself), full of gas and gear it ran 46.5mph/gps.
Usually runs about 45 With all of us. Rev's higher and sounds pretty darn good when she's wound out!

Also feels better in turns to me.

can you elaborate on the steering/turns? my rt188 115 ct is my first boat and i'm not too impressed with the steering but i really have nothing to compare it to so i'm curious to hear what improvements you are feeling.

Didn't seem to cavitate in turns like it did with 24p. Felt more solid if you will. They are basically flat bottom boats, so they aren't going to maneuver like race cars.

Did you notice more fuel burn running the higher RPM's. When i did the change to a 21P it seems i'm burning a lot more fuel.

I really screwed the pooch on this one. Should have been its own thread. Could the moderator fix this for me. Good Lord I can't figure out how to delete this.

put solid pvs plugs in tempest prop you will be amazed handles and turns like it’s on rails. No cavitation what so ever.

Anybody ever try a tempest 23 pitch or 22 prop? If so how does it do?
