I'm running a small hub 23" Turbo TXP OT4 on my 22ft boat running 70ish top end and get virtually no perceptible slip on takeoff with my SHO 250.
If you are referring to a true drag prop rather than a small hub prop then ignore my story and your guess is as good as mine, haha.
What lower unit are you running...most Yamaha lowers do better with through hub props......

yes im running yamaha lower unit that wayne made water pick up underneath , what thru hub prop would you recommend trying it is one of his phase two motors
