    2013 H22B Setup

I have a 2013 H22B with a 150hp yamaha 4 stroke. I am running gps 52mph at 6000 rpms. I have a 6 inch hydraulic jackplate. Running a 21 pitch OFX powertech prop. Is this about all I can expect out of this setup or could I get more out of it. I am very pleased with the boat and 52mph with a 22 footer is good but if there is more to get I want to maximize my setup. Thanks in advance.

There may be 2-3mph but you would need a bigger jackplate and a new prop. Well into $1500 (If you bought everything new) so to me it wouldn't be worth it but if you want it then slap a 12" plate and one of the good props listed and see what it will do

    I agree with 'pickle.

On the cheap side ....... get a 4" spacer for your 6" hydraulic jackplate to give you 10" of total setback ....... and buy a good prop. You can pick up most good props for $250-$350 used, and depending on which one brand new for 'around' +/- $500.
