    Low water pick-up flush kit?

Hey guys, had something funny happen with my 250 Pro XS this weekend. We were on Clearlake and I took my boy out fishing, motor fired right up and we were running for about 5 minutes when I watched the screw for my front fish finder bounce off. I took my foot off the gas undid my life vest and went to look for it, but it was gone. I left the boat in forward, but noticed the motor just turned off. I put it in neutral and tried to start it, no dice. It sounded like it was struggling for fuel, but there is a 1/2 tank. Then I thought it was flooded, so I waited and kept trying and couldn't get it start. The wind was crazy so I called one of my buddies that was on the water for a tow.

I need to check a bunch of things, but wanted what low water pickup flush kit you guys use and where did you buy it?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Make sure you didn't flip the kill switch when you stood up.

Kill switch or check the primer bulb. I was trolling with mine this weekend and it died. I couldn't get it to start until I squeezed the primer bulb.

I use a 55 gallon plastic drum cut in 1/2 to flush my sporty's,and just duct tape the nose p/ups on a TMaster, and regular side muff's on those.

Nothing wrong with that! It looks to provide better pressure with less loss of water..........
