Separate Weber charcoal and smoker...to a traeger?

Anyone go from a separate charcoal grill and an electric smoker to a single unit like a Traeger? I have both and am considering going to a single unit for grilling and smoking duties. I do love my Weber charcoal grill as well as my Masterbuilt 30 digital smoker but if I can get 2 units in 1 package and get more room on the patio....I might pull the trigger on a Traeger. Specifically the Bronson 20. I don't smoke a whole lot but I do alot of chicken and a Tri-Tip once a week. Thanks for and insight.

The Traeger appears to make cooking easy since it's all automatic. But it's hard to replace the Weber 22 1/2 inch smoker, especially if you have a set of GrillGrate and a Smokenator on it.

I have a Mastercraft digital smoker, but have not mastered it yet. I prefer the taste of meat rendering its juices directly onto hardwood coals. I'm considering making a UDS--Ugly Damn Smoker for that purpose, and use some of my old Weber grill's parts to put it together.

Go ahead and get the Traeger--and keep your old grill and smoker. Every great BBQ chef has 3-4 grills and smokers for different purposes.

I gave away a Weber gas grill and a Masterbuilt electric smoker when I purchased my Rec Tec grill. I will never look back.

I did a lot of research before buying my RecTec . Read the customer reviews. It is built like a tank. High quality stainless steel. The PID controller is the best. It is very precise and doesn't vary more than 1 or 2 degrees or it stays rock steady.

Can't go wrong with any wood pellet smoker/grill but I do love the RecTec!

I to have a Weber and a electric smoker had they work well but I'll never go back as the RecTec (pellet smoker/grill) is just so easy...
