    Mercury 150 4stroke transom saver

    What is the best transom saver for this motor? I have a friend with one on a pontoon boat and he can't use one from trailer to motor. The dealer had a soft rubber block that goes on the trim cylinder but he was wondering if there's something better?

    Not yet the only thing available is the old fashioned trailer to lower unit. If you use the soft rubber block make sure it does not interfere with the trim cylinder seal it will cause damage he should be able to look and see if it clears the seal. I have used the block and mine clears the seal.
