Need a little help with a Yamaha motor purchase.

I'm looking at trading boats and found a 2012 z521 with a 250 Yamaha SHO. I don't know anything about the history
of these motors. It has very low hours and still has some warranty left on it.

Are these known to have any issues, not really concerned with speed just reliability.

Any input/opinion would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I would find out if it's had power head replaced or not, I know that I would not purchase one pre 2016. That's not based on any facts other than the dock talk and number of blow ups I hear about have decreased. That's a personal opinion

Thanks Phoenix921, decided against this boat because of engine. Manufacturing date on engine was 05/2011 which was right in the middle of their bearing/crank failure issues. Also got a price of $11,000 out the door for a SHO long block replacement out of warranty. I could rebuild a couple of Mercs for that price.
