I have a 2012 115hp 4 stroke s/n 1B896554 and the up trim relay does not work. Can anyone let me know which automotive type will work. I have read that there are ones that will do fine when you cannot get an OEM type.

So, why do you need an automotive type? I had to replace one on my Optimax, which older than your motor, and had no trouble finding one. It was a cheap part as well. I think I gave $12.

Use the correct OEM relay: 882751 (2 are required).
