I picked up two of these, one spinning and one casting.
The baitcaster is pretty nice. The reel handle might be over greased as it seems to be tight but that might just be the newness of it. Overall, it is smooth and freakish fast for the time.

The spinning reel seems solid. I have used it for drop shot and tubes with zero issues catching up to 4lbers. I imagine it would haul in a 6+ lber just the same. The only issue I have is with line twist. I spooled it with the same line as another reel and the Rocket is getting a lot more twist. I use drop shot a lot and have figured out the right way of spooling line and using the setups to eliminate most line twist. This reel is so fast that the line coming up to the reel slaps against the rod. If there was one more line guide closer to the reel, I think it would be perfect. Almost have to create a new rod style just for these super fast reels.

My friend experienced lots of line twist with his rocket spinning reel. Strange...
