    Dam 202's

It is 8 weeks since I ordered my 797. I called Charger last week, and spoke to the Patron, and he said I am still buried up behind some 202's. Dang it! Too many 202's being built! He did say that my 797 will be the next 797, and that MAYBE he can slide mine in between a few of the 202's, if it makes sense at the time. This waiting sucks. Bass fishing out of a kayak sucks. Watching bass boats going by to their spots with me paddling my kayak against the wind sucks. But, I am going to wait it out. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, to order the boat I want, in the colors I want, with the electronics I want, and with the trolling motor I want. It will be worth it...

The waiting does suck but it will all be worth it when you're out in the 797!

Sounds like you should have ordered a 210.

Charger is covered up with 210 orders and all orders are put in line according to order date regardless of what model it is.

I would not have had to order one, if that is what I wanted. I thought about cancelling the 797, and buying one that is for sale, but I would have regretted it...I just don't want the 210. I am a former Champion owner, so nothing against them. For me, the 210's ride too "ass low" in the water. I see a lot of backwash happening there. Look at pictures of the 797 in the water. See how high it sits in the rear? I like that.

None of the elite series Champion boats that I have been in have had any type of back wash problems. Maybe the older ones did but not the newer ones. And the newer ones like the elites sit flatter in the water. If anyone see the videos of Boating World Magazine, Boating Magazine or Bass Boat Exchange one can see that it does not sit low in the back at least for the 210's. Glad to see they are doing so well in sales.

I know exactly what he's talking about. My 2005 198 sits ass low and I have to be careful how I stop or it will send a wall of water over the rear. Add some power poles/talons and it sits even lower.

797 was designed to carry the 350/400 verado it sits very high and level.

Smoothest ride I have ever been in and the boat will do more than I ever want it to do. We hit over 74mph with two in the boat two poles and all of Kelly's tournament gear. It does chine walk but that started around 70 to 72 mph

That is really good. This is the first Charger 210 feedback with a tournament load and 2 people in the boat that I have read.

They must have changed something because my 2013 210 doesn't have the slightest hint of chine walk... Dan
