i just wait till home grab the soft bristle brush, bucket and pour in some liquid car wash n wax and just wash the Hull, and top edge of cap.. yea have the wipe down spray stuff , but if going to spend time, may as well the home wash n rinse as easier, then its dry while putting the stuff away, then park n drop trailer

I use a spray detailer called "Bass Boat Saver". I have used it for years.

I throw water from the lake all over the boat and mota before I load and wipe down the mota and gunnel, in the parking lot I wipe the rest of the engine and bracket then the sides of the boat and trailer. At this time I'm not tryin to really clean it just get the water off with a huge micro fiber. I wash it with a micro fiber mitt and car wash soap. IMO any spray detailer will work as long as it has UV inhibitors in it. I personally don't apply anything to boat if rubbing is involved unless I know the surface is clean so I don't put any hairline scratches in. As for wax....I use Protech Sealant Polish mainly as I have found it is effortless to apply, remove and appears to last. Any automotive waxes and polishes should also work fine. I prefer Mothers brand...

For the most part, wax is wax. If its good enough for my vehicles, good enough for the boat. That being said, I do use Collinite #885, heavy duty paste on everything that you would normally use wax on. All other products are Poorboy's World brand.

A simple quick wipe down as soon as it comes out the water. When I get home and get settled, I use a quick detailer and a couple times a year I do a good wax job. I've tried a lot of different boat waxes and as long as you use a good quality wax, seems one is as good as the other in most cases. I do try to make sure the wax has UV protection.

Car wash in a spray bottle diluted for coming off the river, Nautical Liquid Glass or ProTec Sealant work great. I prefer the Nautical Liquid Glass but for the price difference I usually use ProTec for everything that come's and goes through my shop.

All you have to do is put a fingerprint on the boat and out comes the cleaning supplies for a full detail.
