The traveling seats are very tall in the new Z series NITRO boats!

I didn't really realize how tall they are until I got real up close and personal at Bass Pro last weekend. I bet they are very comfortable but it just seemed kinda odd seeing seats that tall on a Nitro. I honestly like my shorter seats but I could get used to those newer seats in a Z21. haha

If you are talking about the seats you rid in, yes they are and I really like sitting up more than in my old boat.

It is because they moved the gas tank and put it under the seats. I have talked to previous owners that say they will never buy another Nitro until they put the seats back down. I found the seat height not to my liking at first but I guess I am used to it now. If you don't have a second console for the passenger side it kind of simulates riding a bull on that side when hitting rough water.

You can get them an inch lower if you remove the slide plate... My z8 has the fuel under the seats as well

You mean ten years ago? Nitro has always put the seats higher. Better view and easier to get up. The 17s seats bases lower The seats by a few inches.

Wouldn't trade the seat setup in my Z20 for anything else on the market no doubt about it

On my first ride in my z 19 I felt like I was setting real high but after using by boat to fish I love the higher seat it is so much easier to get up and down.
