problem with power connection on quick disconnect mount

I have the 998 c SI with the quick mount on the console. I've been having trouble with power shutting off when boat goes on plane. I figured out that female sockets on power input are enlarged resulting in loose fit of power connector. Is this a common problem? I'm guessing the only solution is to send unit to factory (?)...

Just slightly adjust the two power cord pins in any direction.

thats what i did. and put a piece of tape around the connector for a more snug fit
