    Fury 4 vs. Trophy Plus

Thinking about trying a 4 blade prop to replace my Tempest Plus. Which 4 blade is generally faster on top speed the Fury 4 or the Trophy Plus?

Had the same prop on my 206 and went to Fury 4 24p and really woke up the boat and now rides and handles like a champion should...I did lose a couple MPH but well worth it.

The fury 4 is 1 mph slower than my tempest and I haven't tinkered with the plate yet. Even if it was slower it's 10x better everywhere else.
Never ran a trophy but I've seen alot of people complain about bad hole shots with them.

My ranger ran good with my old trophy plus just couldn't power load for sh-t. My Fury 4 is the best over all prop my rig has ever seen and i can damn near push my truck up the ramp. I get awesome holeshot and boat is glued to the water. I've tried to blow this prop out or loose bite and its not gling to happen. Been the fastest consistent prop I've had on and I've tried alot of big money props. My boat was fast with a tempest plus and the fury 3 blade but speed was always different from one day to the next and the fury did not carry my heavy ass boat well but it was still fast

    Thank Ya'll for the input.My question now should I try a 24 pitch Fury 4 or a 25 pitch! I'm currently running a 25 pitch Tempest Plus.

Your running a 25" tempest that needs some work, it's got a lot of slip. A 24" Fury 4 prop will top out at 70 but that 25 tempest should run 72-73. I don't know if you can turn a 25 fury 4 enough rpm's to get everything out of it.

Yes it would be a 24 fury. But like mdtritn21 said your getting alot of slip so I would probably send that tempest in for some croxton magic and if your still not happy you can still sell that prop on the props4sale page. 25 Tempest blueprinted and all shinned up is a hot item then you can put that money towards a fury 4 24p

Not sure if I understand exactly what you wrote. Are you telling him that his 22' champ with a 225 will hit 70mph? If that's the case, there's no way in hell that will ever happen. Well, maybe on the interstate.

I have a 1999 Ranger 518vx with a 2013 200 Pro XS on and I switched from a 25 tempest plus to a 24 fury 4 this year. All holes open in the fury it pops very nicely out of the hole and I notice a big difference in mid range punch by stepping down to the 24. It's much "snappier". I haven't really tested out the top end with it yet, still on the "to do" list. Good Luck!

Thanks for the information! I'm going to purchase a Fury 4 24 Pitch and see how it performs.

I am currently running a 25 pitch 4 blades trophy With one hole plugged on a 2000x Astro

It is not fast out of the hole
been reading reviews on the 4 bladed fury that has 8 vents holes
would a 24” be a good selection or should i stick with a 25” fury

1- don't be afraid to start your own thread. A little more info is needed to get quality help, we know your boat, but what motor is on it, what's redline on that motor, what are your max speed and rpm with your current setup, where is the engine height. With all this information we can get you a better idea

on my Son's Champion 191scx, we took off the 25 tempest and put on the 25 trophy, same rpm and speed, and much better hole shot and low speed handling, 200 Mariner EFI and 191 SCX, he is very happy with the prop and so sold the 25 tempest.

Did some resting this weekend by plugging one of the 4 holes and was 4 to 5 seconds to plane off and WOT @ 5500 RPM was running 69 mph
