I'm looking for info on Nimrod as well....any advice?
Has not been up to standards for me, Catching some on worms with light weight, jigs and moving baits.

Terrible recently. It went from being the best lake in the state to as tough as it gets. That 6 month draw down hurt it bad. You can still catch a few but its tough. Hope it rebounds in the coming years.
Hearing the river is where its at and that's where I have marked the most fish. Had a few good blow ups on top-water, but was unable to connect.
Spent the weekend of the 4th of July there. Fished it 2 days then went to Dardenelle for more fun. Nimrod was tough fishing for sure.
I can tell you this, the lake is fishing tough right now. No one caught anything main lake, everything was caught in the river. There were 3 tournaments going on and EVERYONE was in the river. It was tough to find an empty bank/brushpile to fish!
17# won our club tournament Saturday. 14# was 2nd and 3rd. Everyone had at least a small limit. Nimrod has been tough this year, but there are still a few fish in there.

I've just been going to dardanelle instead lately. Had 21.41 saturday.....time to put some stabill in the boat and climb a tree for a few months!

I thought so too....big fish was 5.31, small was 3.57. Doesn't always happen like that, thats for sure.Thats a great bag for this time if year!
