Opinion on Stratos 189 VLO

Does anyone own one? How do you like the boat itself? How fast will it go with a 175hp engine. Do you feel the ride quality is good? Is the boat wide and stable? Is it a good fishing platform? I'mcaught up between this boat a triton tx 189 and a phoenix 618 pro it's the last boat I'm ever gonna buy...at least thats what my wife says lol. Thanks for the help.

I was in the same position you was . Looking at the same 3 boats . The 618 is gorgeous but rocks real bad after 50mph for some reason. I didn't ride the triton but man it's wide and looks nice . I ended up getting a 2012 189 for 19,500. 147 hours. Boat will do 57 2 people with the 150 without a jackplate. Big fishing deck , don't seem to be as wide as the triton. Phoenix has all the bells and whistles. Stratos also is ending production this year.

I just bought a 186 vlo with the 135 ho runs 55 GPS two people and the ride is amazing. The 189 only has to be better. No regrets here.
