    Fury 4 on Z9?

Just curious if anyone has tried a Fury 4 on a Z9 at all? Wonder how it would compare to a Bravo..

Wondering same thing. Also prop to pad measurement as a starting point. Also, how many vent holes open or plugged?

Well may as well update this thread now. Got my hands on a 24p Fury 4 blade this past week and had a quick chance to try it on the river the other day. Currently I run a Croxton B&B 25p Temptest that will get me around 71-72 mph by myself with empty wells, half tank of fuel and around 65-68 with a tournament load. I put the 4 blade on without adjusting the jackplate height from the Temptest setting. The runs were by myself, 1/2 tank of fuel and full livewells.

    First Run- 68mph@6100 into current
    - 69.9mph @ 6100 with current

    I lowered plate 1/2" to around 3 3/4" bp
    Second Run- 67.5mph@6000 into current
    - 69.4mph@6000 with current

The holeshot was pretty good considering the livewells were full, much better than Temptest. Broke over around 4100-4200rpm. All holes open.
I raised the plate back up a 1/4" and will see how it performs next weekend. Not sure if I should try a 25p or have Mark Croxton work his magic on this one. Rpm are a little high for being loaded..
