Conroe area - Prop setup

I am looking for someone (dealer, prop shop, person) that you would recommend to set up a boat for the area. I have a 2017 blazer 625 with Verado pro 250 and looking to get the prop dialed in for Conroe area as I am moving there from out of state and have been running at 4000-6000' of elevation. I do have a bob's 10" hydraulic plate on it and figure someone that has access to props (and more high performance boat experience to know how to adjust for little things) can do this much quicker than I can to dial in the weight balance, the prop, jp height, etc.

Also if they are a humminbird guru that is a bonus as needing some help on my images as for some reason image issues recently (last time I was out) and may want to add SI transducer to my ultrex if possible so not using the one off the transom.

Definitely will pay for this assistance.

Want to set it up to run on rayburn, TB, etc. Just living on Conroe so figured someone in that area is where they'd need to be so I don't have to take it 3 hrs away to have some dial in the prop....

Not really sure of anyone in the Conroe area. Troy Kirk at Capt Kirk's might be able to help, not sure.

I would almost recommend Scott Jordan at Jordan's Marine in Vidor, he is pretty good from what I hear. Runs racing Mercs.

As to the Humminbirds, I just did an Ultrex install on my Phoenix with an HDSI transducer.

And as far as BMCD's comment about Conroe, running fast is killer this time of year.

Jordan in Vidor is very knowledgeable. Steve's custom props in Quitman (Lake Fork) is a guru. Either will need to know WOT rpm's in Texas weather and elevation in order to begin the process.

I've asked a Conroe guide, Butch Terpe, for a recommendation for you. He has been guiding on Conroe since the late 80's. If he gets back to me, I'll post it up here. Where are you coming from? I spend summers at 2000 feet. in TN.

I fish on Conroe weekly out of a Bass Cat. I'm running a Fury 4 25 in the summer as I'd rather have the hole shot than top speed. Conroe is so rough in the summer that top speed isn't much of an option except maybe first thing in the morning. I run a 26p in the cooler months and when the summer traffic gets off the lake. Where are you moving from?

I ran a 26 fury 3 on my opti 250 puma ftd at low altitude previously but verado little different and in a blazer hull which likes the motor higher than some others.
Moving from the rockies. You running opti or verado?

Ill probably run a bravo 26 or so (guessing pitch) for hole shot on conroe then will need to prop it for rayburn, TB and others where top end more important...

Opti, didn't notice you had the Verado. I almost moved south of Denver but decided against it. Bass fishing, or lack there of, was a deciding factor. So, now I commute back and forth to Denver weekly.

Someone has to know a performance person that is a "prop head." I have tried to call Rich a few times that was recommended above but cannot seem to reach him.
I called and talked to Captain Kirk's and they were going to see if anyone there could help me but it has been about 2 weeks and no call back yet.

I also looked at the cost to buy a home, taxes, etc. My son is going in to his junior year at Magnolia. He loves to fish, so do I, so I really thought it over and decided not to move. I was really excited about it and being from Tennessee I love the mountains and the seasons. If they had decent bass fishing I'd be there already but just couldn't take my son away from what he loves to do more than anything.
