Finally got car to the track.

This is a follow up to my thread (http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....653&highlight=) about buying a drag car.

This is the last of my licensing passes so I was able to run it the full 1/4. This pass was a 9.88. I did run a 9.79 but did not get video of that pass. Both were still footbraking the car instead of using the transbrake. I am getting used to the car so will be trying out the transbrake next time out.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone video. Need to find someone with a good camera.

Faster than my V W bus. I never had a transbrake, always had a crash box. You are automatic, at least you didn't need a line lock. Getter down in the low 9's, have fun.

The trans brake is easy peasy man...and I'll bet your short times drop too...looks to be leaving very soft

Yep transbrake is no problem. Just wanted to take it easy at first while getting used to the car and how it handles.

Nice!!! Loved me some drag racing back in the day. You just think fishing is expensive!

That's awesome. Did a little 1/4 mile racing as a young buck. Never in a car that fast. Great looking car and run.
