    Mercury xr2 150

    I've changed the stator,trigger,plugs,plug wires,rebulit the fuel pump,new gas line, 2 new squeeze bulbs, cleaned the carbs,put hose clamps on all the gas lines, new resercaltion line's,checked the vent hoses you can blow through them and bypassed the quick connection for the gas and hooked it stright to the fuel pump and it still runs the gas out of the carbs and dies I need help don't know what else to do

    Did you use Mercury/QuickSilver fuel hose & bulb? Aftermarket fuel hose & bulbs are known to cause problems. Is the bulb facing in the right direction (arrow pointing toward the motor)? Check the fuel tank vent & hose for blockage. Check the check valve at the fuel tank to see if it is functioning properly. Was the fuel filter replaced? Was a complete link & sync done after rebuilding the carbs?

    eliminate the boat run on another tank and line assembly,make sure the check valves in f pump are working and gaskets are in place

    When you "cleaned" the carbs, did you look at needles and seats? Check float levels?
