I'm fixing to upgrade to a XI5 and I want to be able to hook it up to my HDS units.
I already have a NMEA 2K backbone.
Am I correct in my thinking. I need,
XI5, with Pinpoint GPS.
Motorguide gateway cable.
Anything else I need to know?

Yep is all you need , try to get ahold of Doc Sampson aka doctor sonar ,I seen the other day he posted on facebook that he had like 3 of the gateway cable kits new was getting rid of them for like 1 hundred something cant remember , a good deal cause normally they are like $250
