Exclamation Gatorbak Clear LED lit bunks with video/pic's.

For night loading and "bling" halo ground effect on the trailer.

    Installation 6-21-17.
    Boat: 2009 Ranger Z21 Intracoastal
    2 outside bunks 5'.
    2 inside bunks 12'.
New KDAT 2X6 #1 Grade wood bunk boards. (Kiln Dried After Treated) This is premium straight wood with no knots/bark scuffs. Not cheap!
Routed for LED lights 1" in from outside edges. *Anything more than one LED strip per bunk placed like this is overkill IMO.
Bluewater white LED light strips. One per bunk. http://gatorbak.com/blue-water-led-lights/
    Primed/painted white on top/sides.
Gatorbak Premium Clear 2X6 bunk covers & end caps. http://gatorbak.com/gb550-premium-clear-bunk-cover/
    Reused all SS lag bolts/washers.
12 gage wiring/marine heat shrink butt splices/heat shrink 3/8" & 1/2"/3/8" wire loom all secured inside of rear support.
Daisy chained bunks at rear of trailer and tied into license plate lamp feed.
Total cost for all items: $991.84

    Daylight lit

    On trailer pic's

    On trailer drive by video

    In water pic's

    In water loading video

These lit bunks replaced perfectly good 3+ year old Gatorbak white bunks to upgrade to the lit bunks.

Nice! Are they only on for launching/loading?

I find it funny that you blurred out your truck license plates and boat numbers. Doesn't everybody see them when you drive around?

Holes are drilled into the bottom of the router groove for it to drain.
Lights are positioned to the outside so the bunk material transmits the light to the outside to give it that halo ground effect.

Looks good, why all the extra lengths of wood in the first pic?

Can't hide money. If I fished at night I'd have to consider them too. Very impressive.
