95sv Nework ?

Just curious if the 95sv can waypoint share with a 7610? I just bought the 7610 and had the 95 but after looking at the 95 it seems like it can't be networked. Hope Im wrong or I will need to buy another 76 series

The Ethernet port is only for Panoptix but you can share waypoints using Garmin Hi speed Network. Thats basically garmins version of NMEA0183.

I may be mis-remembering, so double check this in your owners manual, but I think there are a blue and brown wires in the power cord that need to be connected between the two machines. Blue to brown and brown to blue.

Actually, the details may be in the instalation manual and not the owners manual - I forget, so check both.

No, you cannot share wpts between the 95 and 7610. Wpt sharing with these echoMAPs is via Garmin Hi Speed Network only, and with the 7600 series, wpts only share via Ethernet (Garmin Marine Network).

My bad. So it really is NMEA0183 only on the 7610's. I should have checked the manual.
