Didnt see the point of switchin hands after a cast so i made myself learn to cast everything left handed and reel right handed. Im right hand dominate but ambidextrous at alot of things so it wasnt much to learn left hand casting.

Left spinning. Both casting.
I'm right handed. Started out at an early age with a spinning real casting right, reeling left. It made absolutely no sense to cast a baitcaster right and then switch over and reel right.
I'm either on both reels. Most days I will have the same bait tied on a left and right hand reel and some days it makes a difference which hand I have the rod in.

I always cast right handed but am abidextrous with baitcasters can go lefty or righty but to prefer certain techniques certain handed, as far a spinning goes I can only reel left handed, trying right handed is a train wreck which is odd because I can reel a baitcaster righty no problem in fact prefer it.

I still have a few RH baitcasters, but am more comfortable with left hand retrieve overall. I grew up fishing spinning rigs with left hand retrieve, so though I'm right handed it feels natural enough to me. The only time I find an advantage to reeling right handed is if I have an awful lot of line out and a fish runs straight at the boat, because I can reel a little faster with my right hand. Otherwise, it feels awesomely convenient to cast right handed and never miss a beat while switching hands. Now that practically any reel can be found with left hand retrieve, piece of cake to "train" your left hand to turn a crank.

Casting with the right and spinning with the left.
I am right handed. That being said, right hand on the rod and left hand on the reel for everything. Have much more control and sensitivity with my right, any dumb hand can turn a reel handle.
Both righty and lefty for spinning and casting...amphibious.
No
RH for both
I am LH
Casting -Right
Spinning - left
Bought my first Baitcaster back in the '80's.It was a Shimano and like my spinning reels ,it was Left Hand retrieve. Second Baitcaster was an Abu Garcia, also Left Hand retrieve. Casting right handed and reeling left handed is as natural as throwing a baseball and wearing your glove on the OTHER hand. Your Dominate arm does the most work. I've watched young fishermen being taught "cast-right,reel-right", most of the time they're pretty awkward fighting a fish with their 'wrong arm'.
