I was a right hand cast, switch hands, then reel for years. Fished with a friend that reeled left handed and I saw the advantage of not having to switch hands to reel. So now, cast with right and reel with left.

How about you? I simply can't get used to LH baitcasters. But reeling a spinning reel LH feels natural. Go figure.
I'm the same as you except I'm left handed. Interestingly, I cast a spinning rod with my right hand and a bait caster with my left and it's a train wreck if I try to do either differently.

Right on both, all my slappy hand need to do is feel and yank, then my qualified hand can can turn a circle much smoother and faster and reach for a pig better.

Left on everything as of 5 years ago. I had had the traditional set up with left reeling on spinning
and right reeling on my casting for over 40 years. Then one day I said, WTF am I doing moving
this casting rig from hand to hand on every cast ??? It's been all good once I got my mind retrained.

Cast right handed and reel left handed both spinning and bait casters.

Sometimes reel bait caster with right hand..comfortable and efficient either way. Years and years of practice/experience.

Started left spinning, threw with dominant right hand.

No idea why my pals went reel right for baitcasters.

I stayed left for my first baitcaster, continued to throw with my dominant right.

Right handed pals continued to switch over after cast...Didn't understand why.

Although leftie baitcasters were harder to comeby...

    Left left.

Right and right. I've given reeling a spinning reel with my left hand much more than the old college try but I'm a complete feeb trying to reel with my left hand.

It does not matter what type of rod/reel combination I use. I cast them all left handed and retrieve them all with my right hand.
