Anyone have any information on Lake Pierce and how it is setup?
What specific information do you want?
It's a decent size lake, 3,000+ acres. Fishing is good, not great, good.
There are rentals at the camps. Cherry Pocket restaurant.
Fishing is way better on the Kissimmee Chain.
That's what I wanted to hear for the most part. Is there grass, any mats etc? I live in Villages area and love reaching out a bit to some of the different lakes.

I had never fished there until about 3 months ago. I went there and stayed less than 2 hours, I just didn't like the place, a lot of the areas that looked good were so choked out from underwater vegetation that you couldn't really fish them. Overall, a real shallow lake that didn't impress me. Now, with that being said, the water was way down, so it probably wasn't a fair shot, but I didn't care for the place. Unless you are in a tournament, I would just head on to Kissimmee
Parents spent their honeymoon at Jennings Resort, and my dad got put in the paper for catching a huge bass. So needless to say, every summer we were there back in the days, also lake weir. I always enjoyed Lake Pierce more. Linda and Ross Barnes whom ran the store for the Jennings became like my own parents. Spent lots of time there till their passings. Up to that point I could always go out and catch a number of bass. With them not there I did not feel the urge to go often. Hit me each time of their passing being there. Though I still went because my friend and his family go. But I do not do anywhere near as good out there as when I used to put the time in out there on the water. Got so tough for me, I'd come on here and ask myself before going.
Just glad I have been fishing Tenoroc pits off and on since 1989 and can almost always catch bass out there. But I did say, almost. Caught 15 yesterday, nothing big.
Friend and his family was at Lake Pierce for a week the end of June. They only caught a few each day between all of them.
