    siphoning gas from tank

Anyone siphoned gas from their Nitro. Can it be siphoned by removing the sending unit?

Why not take the fuel line off the motor and put a small fuel pump on it from a salvage yard. If not I'd just take it off the motor and if required add to it to get it to flow just pump the primer bulb.

I siphon all my gas out as part of winterizing. Just put a tube in fill and suck for a second.

I was going to siphon out of the filler tube but the siphon tube would only go so far, like there was a blockage to prevent it. So I did remove the sending unit & removed the gas from there. Took about 10 minutes or so with the electric pump. Put in 10 gals & Don's cocktail, removed spark plugs, put a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder & everything seems good, so far.
